El Dorado Hills Dog Park
Centrally located right off of El Dorado Hills Boulevard, El Dorado Hills Dog Park is a boutique dog park with ample parking. This park features small and large dog areas, both of which are surrounded by plenty of trees for shade—a plus for both the dogs and owners. For dog owners there are benches throughout for seating while you keep an eye on your dog. In the larger dog area, safety is a concern when dogs are running at top speeds around the trees because there is not enough open space to separate them from their owners when standing. In addition, El Dorado Hills Dog Park is definitely not a winter-friendly dog park, nor one that that owners will want to frequent if your dogs cleanliness is a priority because dog areas are a dry dirt surface (no grass) and the water area often gets very wet and muddy. Nala gives El Dorado Hills Dog Park a 3-½ paw rating for the size and landscape of the park.
Although we are reviewing the dog park, solely; it is worth mentioning that this park is great for family outings as the park includes baseball fields, a swim center and other amenities that are perfect for the whole household to enjoy.
